Camp Sevier, Greenville.?Deserters from the Thirtieth Division who left camp just before the division departed for overseas service, and who are reputed to have deserted in order to escape overseas service, are being rounded up rapidly and brought Into camp. Instead of being given prison sentences here' by tho courtmartial before whom they are being tried, the men are being sent on immediately to ioin the diWeJon overseas. The ice making and refrigerating plant at Camp Sevier is expected to be in operation by August 1. The I buildlnx is now virtually complete. but the equipment has been somewhat j delayed in transportation. When in i operation the plant 1b expetced to ' manufacture sufficient ice to take > care of the needs of the entire camp and to provide refrigeration for groat J stores of meat and other foods.
