spring of 1911, when the orators have I
beon heard in the auditorium of Winthrop

was in the chapel of Lander College.
Greenwood people welcomed the
State Intercollegiate Oratorical Abso- j
cition's home coming and the large I
auditorium was crowded with an audi- \
ence that listened attentively to the '
nine collegians.
Long since the honor of winning I

charge of plans for the packing house |
in Orangeburg met and heard a report
from the sub-committee that wont

report of the subcommittee, to call a
meeting of the citizens of Orangeburg
and other counties of South Carolina

securing stock and establishing a $150.000
packing plant here.
Make Mattresses and Brooms.

Broom and Mattress factory Is now in
operation and busily engaged in the
