The county bridge over Catawba river, east of Fort Mill, can be used with safety no more until extensive repairs are made to the structure. The bridge lias been in need of attention for some time, according to persons crossing the river at that point, and on Tuesday became impassable whenoneof the spans of the approach on the east side gave away and allowed one section to sag something like one foot. As a result of the condition of the bridge, a party of York "boosters," traveling in 30 automobiles and headed for Fort Mill, were compelled to turn back, as were numerous other teams and automobiles which approached from either side of the river. It is understood that arrangements had already been made to repair the bridge and it is expected the structure will be good shape again in a few days. FOK lib NT ?
