Hotchkiss is getting along as well as can be expected following serious injuries sustained by a fall some time ago. Mrs. Hotchkiss is able to sit up a port'on of each day. The Majestic Theatre. Fort Mill's moving picture show, which was closed down several months ago on account of general business conditions, is agair open to the public. Jones, a well known young man of the township, on Saturday purchased the interest of Mayor A. R. . McElhaney in The Majestic, and in the future will assist in the management of the show. Announcement is made that W. L. Hall, a well known business man of Fort Mill, will the * first of the coming week move with his family to the B. D. Mr. Hall's mercantile business in this city will be continued under the management of his son. Mr. George Hall. Mr. Hall is well known, having served the town at different times in the capacity of mayor and chief of police, and his many friends here regret that he is to move away. Sam'l Boyd, a resident of upper Fort Mill, called at The Times office Sntnrrlnv nnrl re. quested a correction of the report circulated in last week's paper to the effect that his daughter, Miss Beulah, was afflicted with smallpox. Mr. Boyd explained that his daughter had visited the home of Mrs. Osborne just before the latter was stricken with the disease, but that as soon as the nature of Mrs. Osborne's affliction became known, his daughter was successfully vaccinated and up to Saturday had shown no symtoms of having contracted the dis^ ease. Jasper White, a vounir son of Ham, is pursued by his evil ways ^ until it appears that he can never become his own master. Jasper is now confined in York jail to answer the charge of housebreaking and larceny.
