PLEASANT WAY TO
STOP CONSTIPATION
Dodson's Liver Tone Take* the Place of
Disagreeable Calomel and Its Often
Dangerous After-Effects.
You probably know that calomel
is a poison, a form of mercury,
very dangerous to a great
many people and sometimes
causing aisagreeaDieaiter-errects
for nearly everyone who tries it.
Dodson's Liver Tone is .recommended
as a perfectly safe and
reliable remedy to take the place
of calomel. This is exactly what
it is made for and has been made
for ever since the first bottle
was put up and sold.
Dodson's Liver Tone is pretty
widely imitated. But be careful
to judge between thb loud boasts
of the imitators and the plain
truth of the original.
Dodson's Liver Tone is sold
and guaranteed by Ardrey's
Drug store who will refund purchase
price (50c.) instantly with
a smile if you are in any way
dissatisfied.
Dodson's Liver Tone is a
palatable vegetable liquid. Its
action is easy and natural, with
no gripe, no pain and the aftereffects
are pleasant instead of
disapreeable. Dodson's Liver
Tone does not interfere with
your regular duties, habits and
diet, but builds and strengthens
instead of weakening you or
"knocking you all out" for days.
Try Dodson's and feel better
and brighter, as thousands have.
MRS. W. W. LAKE
Tells Others How to Get Strong 1
and Well.
Mrs. W. W. Lake of Aberdeen,
Was., says: "The grippe had left me
In a weak, run-down condition from
which I suffered for some time I
tried different remedies but nothing
seemed to do me any good until I
took Viuol, from which I received
great benefit. My cough is almost
entirely gone and I am strong and
well again, and I am glad to recommend
Vlnol to others who suffer hb I
did."
Mrs. Lake's recovery was due to
the combined action of the medicinal
elements extracted from cods' livers
?combined with the blood making
and strength creating properties of
tonic iron, which are contained In
Vinol, and her cough disappeared as j
a natural result.
We guarantee that Vinol will do all
we claim and will pay back your
money if Vinol does not satisfy you. |
P. S. Stop scratching, our Saxo ,
Salve stops Itching. We guarantee It.

The Majestic Theatre extends
a cordial invitation to each of
the old veterans of the township
to visit the theatre on next
Tuesday, the 7th, when the
"Battle of Gettysburg" a big
five-reel picture, will be shown.
The veterans will, of course, be
admitted free.
Ella Mae, the little daughter
of Mayor and Mrs. A. R. McBilhaney,
has been seriously ill of
fever for some days at the home
of her parents on Spratt street.
The child's condition yesterday
was unchanged.
If vou failed to heed the notice
from the county treasurer and
did not pay your commutation
tax up to Tuesday, you will be
required to serve five days on
the roads.
Miss Kathleen Jeter, of Union,
who is attending summer school
at Winthrop spent Sunday at the
home of Mr. (). Barber, east of
town.
Mr. A. O. Anderson, overseer
of carding at the Mill fort Mill, j
spent several days of the last !
week in Charleston.
Prof, and Mrs. J. P. Coats left
yesterday morning for a visit of
several weeks to relatives at
Cross Hill, Laurens county.
Dr. W. L. Hand, of Pineville.
was among lite visitors to Port
Mill yesterday.
Miss Isabel Massey charmingly
entertained yesterday afternoon

Kimbrell are Fort Mill men who
have been drawn to serve the
second week of the approaching
term of York court.
The directors of the two banking
institutions in this city met
Wednesday and declared the
usual annual and semi-annual
dividends, showing that both institutions
are in prosperous condition.
The candidates for the TTniftirt I
States senate, Messrs. Smith,
Blease, Pollock and Jennings,
are scheduled to address the
voters of York county at Yorkville
today. It is expected a
large crowd will hear the speaking.
The little daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Chas. Carter, of East Confederate
street, has been dangerously
ill for some days, the
attending physicians having
found two operations on the
child necessary during the last i
week.
The merchants of Fort Mill'
have agreed to close their places !
of business next Monday morning
at o'clock in celebration of
the Fourth of July. The stores;
will remain closed throughout the
day.
There seems at present some
likelihood that Fort Mill's Main
street will be extended several
blocks farther east in the near j
future. A party of real estate
men were here the last week in
consultation with Col. Leroy
Springs, owner of the unde-1
veloped property, with a view of
placing it on the market. A
survey of the property has since
been made and it is said an
auction sale of lots will be held
in the near future.
Our neighbor, the Fort Mill
Times, is warming up in matters
political. Especially it is taking
a stilF hold in the fifth con-|
gressional contest. The Times I
is generally somewhat reserved
about expressing extreme opin- |
ions, but it looks now like it will I
deviate from the beaten path\
and take a chance at being
a little more rash in its ex-1
pressions. However, we notice j
that The Times carries the announcement
of Mr. Stevenson's
candidacy on the first page.
