In Memoritm. I
The members of the Foreign Missionary
Society of Fort Mill Presby r
terian church wish to put on record
H9?*.\'' their appreciation of the lif? an<
character of Mrs. Catherine Massey,
who died Di.cen.ber 11, iyi2, in the
eighty-fifth year or. tier age. She was
our oldest member and was ever interested
in the cause of missions.
She was a kind and sympathetic
neighbor and a true and faithful friend.
Quiet and retiring by nature, she had
? ...uumwc ui iriii piety ana unswerving
faith in God. Precious above
rubies is the patience born ot lailn am.
love, and this was her possession.
- Resolved, 1st?That we tender our
sincere sympathy co the large lamily
circle and pray Goa's blessing on them.
2nd?Thut a page in our minute book
be inscribed to her memory, and that a
copy of these resolve ions r>e sent to her

CITIZEN PAPERS.
A. man "must have the same witnesses
on his second visit for his 1
citizen papers that he had on his
first." Such is the plain demand of j
the law in the case. The men who <
begin with you must see you through
to the end. If you take new wit- i
nesses on the second visit, no alt en- :
tion will bo paid to them by the
court. You can ace how, were the ,
law other than it is, a world of trou- 1
ble could arise. The final papers
make you a full-fledged citizen, as J
much so as though you had lived
here all your life. With such papers ,
no foreign nation can "impress" you i
into the service.?Exchange. I

on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 1, 1913,
and kept open until FEBRUARY 20,
1913, for the purpose of listing for taxation
all PERSONAL and REAL Property

form and it is preferable that they be
made by the property owner in person
to me or my assistant, direct, on blanks
provided for the purpose. The returns
must be duly sworn to either before me
or my assistant, or some other officer
qualified to administer an oath.
All items of realty, whether farms

Returns made on proper blanks, and
sworn to before an officer qualified to
administer an oath and forwarded to
me by registered mail before February
20, 1913, will be accepted.
All taxpayers are particularly requested
to inform themselves as to the
number of their respective school districts,
and where they have property in
more than one school district, they will
please make separate returns indicat1
g the location of each piece of property.
'the school districts in which
there are special levies are as follows:

Nos. 0, 13. 14, 29, 33, 43 and 51 in Le- !

years, are liable to a poll tax of $1.00, j
and all persons so liable are especially i
requested to give the numbers of their
respective school districts in making
their returns.
It will be a matter of much accommodation
to me if as many taxpayers as
possible will meet me at the respect- j
