mail.
Mary Hart, a colored woman
who with her husband, Nathaniel

accident on Friday. The woman
had raked up a pit* of trash in the!
yard, and after applying a match :
had turned her back to the fire. !
when her clothing became ignited
The woman ran for help, but the

nearly all her clothing had been
burned off and her body literally i
roasted. The woman died Saturday
morning after suffering agony
indescribable.
