darmes, who were hidden in the cour
yard of the public buildings, emerge
and suddenly charged the crowd at ful
gallop, driving the demonstrators ii
headlong confusion and screaming witl
terror upon the sidewalks and into ad
jaeent streets. This led to serious en
counters, 50 persons being more or les
severely injured. Barge numbers wer
arrested.
