Miss Nannie Thorn well, teacher of the 1st grade of the public schools, is arranging to gladden the hearts of her littlo pupils by presenting them with a Christmas tree. The children will contribute to the pleasures ot the occasion by songs, recitations, etc. Rural Carrier ?J. R. Haile, Jr., has received notice from the postoffice department of a change in Ins route on January 1. The change will only be slight but will effect the serving of a nnmber of additional families with a daily mail service. Mr. llaile will then leave Fort Mill at 10.30 a. m., instead of 10 o'clock as at present. In accoroance with the custom, there will be no paper issued from this office on December 28, or the week . following Christmas.
