Mr Kip Moore returned to his home in Kock Hill yesterday morning, after a visit of several weeks to Mr. J. M. Armstrong in this township. Mr. Moore is to b- gin the duties of secretary to the president of the Monarch Mills, in Union, this fall. Few people in this community are aware of the fact that one of Fort Mill's oldest citizens was a relative of President Andrew .Jackson. Such, however, is the case, and the relative is none other than Air. T. I).
