All persons owning personal properly or those acting as agents for others are required by law to list the same for taxation between January 1st and February 20th, 1920. The auditor's office will be open during this period for the purpose of accepting returns. All property must be listed in the school district in which same is located. Persons owning property in more than one district must use a separate blank for each district. It is absolutely necessary that the auditor have the name of the township and the number of the school district in which each taxpayer resides in order that each school district may receive it's proper portion of funds for school and other purposes ' All males between the age of 21 and 60 years, except those exempt by law, are liable to* a poll tax of 51.00. All males between the age of 21 and 5*0 years are liable unless exempt by A '1 4 t\ v Af I law to a commuiauuu iu<vu $3 00. (Age for road duty and amount of tax subject to change.) Real estate will not have to be returned this year unless you have bougnt, sold or transferred some or built new buildings since last return was made. If any change has been made in real estate since last return it will be necessary to report same to the auditor. The law requires a 50 per cent penalty be added to the taxes of all persons not making their returns before February 20th.
