Mr. B. F. Edwards has been appointed
census enumerator for the
town of Dillon. Mr. Edwards' territory
takes in that part of town recently
incorporated, extending a mile
each way from the intersection of
Main street and Railroad avenue. He
will take up his duties about January
let.
The Herald is published a little
ahead of time this week in order to
give the office a well-earned rest.
This has been a very busy year at
(The Herald office and about a year
and a half's work has been crowded
into twelve months. The mechanical
department closed Tuesday afternoon
and will reopen Friday morning.
The business office will be closed
from 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon
until Friday morning.
