hours. Mr. Wise had beau in falling 4
health for sons* time, until he was 1
taken with acute indigestion, which
caused his death. The deceased tear- 1

passed his sixty-sixth year and had 1
been a member of the Methodist 1
Church for several years.
He will be greatly missed by his j
family and friends and all who knew

place at his residence by his pastor

remains were laid to rest in the family

week., The railroads are
greatly handicapped by the tardiness

From the cars and Director McAdoo
wants to make a "clean-up" of all
loaded freight cars at stations and
terminals. There are barely enough
Treight cars in the country to handle
the great volume of business passing
through the railroads and a day's delay
In unloading a car only adds to
the burdens of tho TMrOrtnr rUnaral
In' handling the nation's business.
This is a very important matter and
It is hoped that every shipper will
co-operate with Mr. McAdoo in relieving
the congestion of traffic.
