unable to receive the city authorities
who made their formal calls to
the warship to-day, as he was confined
to his bed with a fever from
which he has been suffering for the
past three days. His illness is not
thought to be serious and it is
hoped that he will be sufficiently
recovered to take part in the German
day celebration here on October
8th.
