There is no doubt now but that
the men who wee taken from the
Jell In Rayvllle, Lousiana .and lynched
by a mob far killing of the
town marshall was none other than
J. C. Freeman, of .McColl, who shot
and killed a white man In that town
about two years ago. Several citisens
of McColl w.ho knew Freeman
intnmately. unhesitatingly say that

Dear Sir:?I enclose you a photo- t
graph of one J. C. Freeman, alias '
John Stevens ,A. Douglass Freeman who
murdered our marshall here on
June 25th, and was taken from the
jail and hanged. c
We have been unable to find out a
