receiving the highest number
of votes, and six Lewis Plow
Stocks (the gift of the Dillon Hardware
Co.) and a handsome $100.00
Durham buggy will be awarded to

i bers in the contest. The buggy will
be on exhibition at Holliday's stables,
the county agents, the piano
will be on exhibition at The Herald
office and the I?ewis Plow
Stocks can be seen at the Dillon
Hardware Co's. The terms of the
contest are 100 votes for every
year'B subscription and a chance at
the buggy and the plow stocks. The
contest will be conducted strictly on
business principles. No person, not
. even the employees in the office,
e will be given "inside" information
. and every person will be given an
equal opportunity to win The
contest will be under the direction
t of an agency which places its own
9 solicitors in the county, and the
e management of The Herald will
a turn over to them all the details of

and upon reaching his destination

arriving here Wednesday night, at
