A trip through the Little Rock sec
tion shows that crops in that coinmu

cent rains. In many places cotton
has been drowned and in others
deep gulleys have washed across the
fields. It seems that the rains in
iuai section were Heavier than in
n ^ any other part of the county. About
half of the oat crop was lost.
