Old Age CMMBUM At 45
New York, Oct- 11.? According:
to Rev. Charles L. Goodcli,
pastor of the Calvary Methodist
Church, old age begins at fortyfive
and from that age a fear in
decline.
"The human body is a furnace
which keeps under blast three
score vears and ten, or more or
less," said Mr. Goodell in his ser
tnon. Then the fire slackens and
life declines; when it goes out we
ire dead.
"The amount of combustion increases
up to thirty years, remain
stationary to forty-five, when it ^
begins to diminish and the old age
>f the body begins."
