Misses Eula and Beula Braddy
entertained about fifteen of their

The railroad authorities have
built a wide and substantial crossing
at Jackson St. This improvement
saves farmers from over the
New Bridge a long haul through
town when carrying produce to the
ail mill or to the cotton warehouse.
Jas. Adams' ten-cent shows
arrived in town Saturday night
and will exhibit here every night
this week. The tent has been
pitched on Dr. David's lot in the
rear of L. C. Braddy's store.
The Jas. Adams shows are clean
and moral and give more for the
money than any show on the road.
Mr. Goodman Meares and Miss
Mittic Mercer, of Lumbcrton, N.
C., were joined in the holy estate
of matrimony Sunday evening at
the Price Court Inn, by Dr. Joe
Cabell Davis, the marrying notary
of Dillon, before quite a large
