is conducting: a meeting: at the
Presbyterian Church. The meeting^
are held afternoon and night
and are being well attended.

South Carolina at Clinton, filled
the pulpit at the Presbyterian
Church Sunday.
Col. A. E. Montague, representing
the new railroad, arrived
in town Saturday and joined Mr.
W. M. llamer, Dr. David and
Dr. Stackhouse, the right-of-way
committee, and discussed plans
for securing the right-of-way for
the new road. The committee is
now actively at work and hope to
be able to make a favorable report
in.a few days.
Mr. Bascom Meares and Miss
Susie Huggins of Lumberton were
united in the holy bonds of matrimony
at the Price Court Inn
Monday morning. It was another
case of parental objection and
a romantic flight across the border
line to the state where marriage
certificates are unnecessary
and divorces are never granted.

Dillon. After the ceremony and
a brief reception the bride and
groom came on to Dillon and are

Niel Campbell, father o f the
groom. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell
will make their future home on
the Jackson place near Little Reck.

sacks of flour, 15 pounds of toy
hacco and a side of meat. These
were the only articles missing but
/ j it is probable that the robbers
\( got other goods. The entrance
| was made through the back door.
A pane of glass was taken out and
the robbers crawled through the
\ aperture and then unlocked the
door. There was no clue to the
rcbbeis. The Messrs. Graham
moved to Dillon about Jan. 1st.
from Hamer where they had been
running a saw mill.

planned a catching selection,Mrs.

The Oyster Supper has been
postponed fiom Friday evening
until a later date, on account of
the services going on at the Presbyterian
Church.
The regular meeting of the
League will be held Thursday afernoon
at 4:30 o'clock. ,
Important matters are to be discussed
and all the members are
urged to be present.
