OUR PROGRESS THUS FAR More than a year ago the parent company, known as the Texas Fugle Oil Oomany. was organized. They secured vast acreage of valuable lands In the probable and proven fields of Txeas, Louisi- ana and Mexico. Their progress was such as - to enable them to pay a dividend of ?)0% to their stockholders the early part of this year. Following close upon the heels of this success, and foreseeing, the possibility of oil refineries in the mid-Continent field, the Texas Eagle Producing and Refining Company was organized. This company was officered and directed by the same men who hraded the earlier company. They too acquired extensive hold Ings of great value much of which is in the very heart of the prov en fields of the Southwest and, in addition, a veritable empire in newer California. The conservative and yet progressive policy of this company enabled them to pay a dividend of 10% upon the merger of the two companies into the present Corporation. EIGHTEEN PRODUCING WELLS • Whether or not the management selected carefully and wisely the acreage owned by this company may be judged from the fact that out of nineteen wells which have been drilled to comple tion IT of them are producing oil in big paying quantities and one is producing approximately 600.000 cubic feet of gas daily with only one dry hole. TWO WELLS ON THE SAND in the rich San Gabriel field, of Milam County, Texas, there are two w r eUs on the oil sand which will undoubtedly add two more producers to our list in the eoni-se of a day or two. We are exp ecting a wire from the field any minute announcing their com pletion. . ' SIXTEEN WELLS CONTRACTED FOR •* Our list of holdings are too long to name here but it is believed that the fact that w* rave BIG HOLDINGS (this doesn't mean an acre or two) in each of the following well known fields will be suffi eient to indicate the nature of our lands: Burkwaggoner, Desda- rnonia, Eastland County, Homer, Bull-Bayu, San Gabriel, Stephens County and Pecos Valley. In short, where Oil.is being produced in payng quantities throughout the Southwest, you can practically fiugure that the Texas Eagle is substantially represented there. We have closed contract for the drilling of sixteen additional w ells on this class of acreage and the drilling operations are now fully financed. We will continue to let new contracts as fast as conditions permit. We never have drilled a well in “wild-cat” territory and our vast amount of acreage in the various proven fields is so large that we need not do so for several years. We own a grand total of nearly 80,000 acres of proven, probable and prospective lands stretching across the southwestern part of the United States frora Louisiana. Texas and Oklahoma into Mexico at Lower California. REFINERY PLANS Everyone knows that in the Refining business speculation Is as completely eliminated as in any manufacturing industry known. The construction of our 10,000 barrel refinery on our $500,000 tract of 19> acres within the switching limits of Fort Worth. Texas, was, started several months ago but the actual construct! op of the plant is just now being delayed until such time as our production may catch up to its capacity, at which time it ?an he rushed to completion in a very short time. It is a Well known fact that Refinery profits, rather than those of production are re sponsible .'or the Standard and the other great companies being what they are today. We challenge the public to name one single company in the history of the oil industry of America, who prbdnb- ed, refined and marketed their own crude oil, as this company wl 11 do,, who ever had a dissatisfied ground floor stockholder. Can you think of another line of business that can boast this record?
