and George Lang. Drs. W. II. Shep
pard of Louisville. Ky„ S. Jackson,
of Nashville, Tenu.. and W. A. Young,
of Tuscaloosa, Ala., discussed frank
ly and freely the the true ideals of
Christian education as the only hope
ful foundation for the negroes, and
how such a program of education
would without fall eliminate all ra
cial friction. Dr. R. K. Timmons* is
