They have pro pared their land and bought their seed and arranged to have the neces sary machinery at hand when need ed. Many other farmers are undecided as to whether they will take a long chance on the boll weevil or break away from their “old love" King Cot ton, and plant the crop that lias prov en itself a friend indeed to thus* 5 south and west of us who have suf fered so severely at the hands of King Cotton and his wee little evil imps. To all such undecided farm ers I just want to give a word of as- ’surance abont the peanut project. The last crop hus been marketed at a splendid price, and the indications are that the next crop will not near lill the ever-growing demand. The in creased acreage in South Carolina will not be a drop in the bucket.
