A teachers examination will bo
held In tho court house Saturday,
May 1st for the purpose of issuing
certificates to teach. This will he the
last examination held by the county
Hoard of Education as an Act was
passed at the last session of the leg
islaturc taking the examination of
teachers out of the hands of the coun
ty board of delegating this duty to
tho state board of education. Here
after all examinations for teachers'
certificates will be bold under the di
rection of the state board who will
prepare tlie examination questions,
correct the papers and issue state cer
tltlcates.
