Francisco Mr. and Mrs. Inabinet will
probably stop in Florence a for hours.

Teachers To Stand
State Examination
A teachers examination will be
heyi in the court house Saturday.
May 1st for the purpose of issuing
certificates to teach. This will be the
last examination held hy the county
}oard of Education as an Act was
passed at the last session of the leg
islature taking the examination of
teachers out of the hands of Hie coun
ty board of delegating this duty to
the slate board of education. Here
after all examinations for teacher's
ortiiicates will be held under the di
rection of the state board who will
prepare the examination questions,
