burned: Solomon Shaffer,
one story brick building;
Peoples Bank, two stoyy
britk building: Electric
Ivig-lit office, one story brick
building. Sam Baroody, one
story brick building. All of
the stores were owned by
Dr. T. H. Houck.; Dr. Houck
stated today that he valued
the property at fifty thou
sand dollars and that he was
insured for only ' 315,000.
Mr. Staffer suffered a great
loss, His stock being valued
at $40,600 with only $16,000
insurance. Sam. Paroodv/had
just moved -into his rtore
wiilwn stock of groceries and
Carried no insurance. It was
stated today that Dr. Houck
would rebuild at once with
larger and more expensive
structures. The fire is owe
of the worst that Timmons-
ville ha's ever suffered. ‘ The
