county was solemnized this morning
at the paysonage of the First Baptist
church, when Dr. Martin united hi
holy wedlock Mrs. Mary S. Seymour
of this citv and Mr. Burton Bass of
Mars Bluff.
The bride was becomingly gowned
in a traveling coat suit of Mid night
blue with accessories to match. The
marriage was a very,quiet affair and
witnessed by only u few intimate
friends and relatives.
Immediately after the ceremony
the happy- couple left for a short
honeymoon after which, they will he
at home to their friends in Mars Bluff

A short business session, presided

Schner. was first held at which
work for the coining months was
mapped out and thoroughly discus
sed. Tlie Hass colors and emblem
were also adopted at this meeting.
After the business session a so
dal hour was greatly enjoyed by
those present during which delicious
refreshments were served.
