Mr. Preston Hatchell, formerly of Florence, but who has of late been in Timmonsville. died yes terday at his home in that place, after a short illness. What is Going on in Marion’s Capital town- W. H. Breeden was in town last Friday. Xeill Bass and wife were in town last Tuesday. Miss Mace visited Miss Tatum in town this week. Hon. J. M. Johnson spent last Monday in Florence. Marion Ellerbe and mother went to Atlanta last Monday. Dr. F. Monroe, of Latta, was on our streets last Friday. C. A. Woods and wife returned from Atlanta last Saturday. W. W. Bethea, from near Flor ence, was in town last Tuesday. Chancellor and X. M. Johnson spent part of this week at Donoho. H. Witcover, after several weeks absence on business, is at home at present. All of our citizens, who went to Charleston’s Gala Week returned last Saturday morning. Mrs. Laura Moore, of Beni.etts- ville, visited her daughter Mrs. C. A. Wilcox, this week. J. E. Bass was in town last week. He is now traveling tor a Richmond grocery house. Mrs. Louiie V.
