Brown, the marriage of Miss Irene Brown to Hijr. Benj. A. McKnight took place on 12th inst. The occasion is one long to be re membered. It was one that would remind us of such an occasion in ante-bellum days. The large num ber of persons present and the abundance of good things would somewhat remind us cf the good old days gone by. The crowd was estimated at about two hundred and fifty per sons. At the hour appointed for the marriage, the modest bride was led before the preacher by the groom, and in fitting words Rev. H. F. Oliver made them one. Bridesmaids and groomsmen were in attendance. The wedding march was played by Mrs. William McKnight, sister of the bride.
