TLANTIC COAST LINE. Wilminitou, ~ ‘ & Aopsta R. R CONDENSED SCHEDULE. I HAIXS GOING SOUTH, Everyone will acknowledge that we carry the best line of pants in Florence. So don’t miss this sale at cost cash, at Sligh & Rucker’s. Dated Nov. 17, 1895. The Colleton outrage is being investigated. Queen Victoria is said to have grown old rapidly, of late. The Virginia Legislature has in troduced an anti-lynch bill. Henry Hayward is said to be crazy since his sentence for mur der. There is rivalry between some of the States as to which shall have the National Republican Conven tion. Perhaps it was the loss of that Bible and its teachings that responsible for the Barnwell der. was mur- Seveu members of the Fifth regiment, of Ohio, went from At lanta to Cuba to join the insur gents. We have received from George W. Williams, of Charleston, a copy of his “Advice to young men,” which shows how beat a young man may succeed iu business and. make a useful citizeu. The book also contains a description of Mr. William’s home in Georgia, Na- coochee, iu a series of letters dating from 1869, in which he gives some thing of his own history as well as a pleasing and entertaining de scription of the country and the lives of the people around him. The book as a whole would tempt tried or careworn people to go to the “Vale of Nacoochee” for rest and recreation, so peaceful does the writer make it appear, and doubtless the rest taken in that lovely place has helped Mr. Wil liams to carry on an extensive business successfully, and bear the strain during a long and useful life. Postponed. Owing to the inclemency of the weather the practice game of foot ball which was to come off this afternoon has been postponed but will probably take place on Thurs day. O. N.
