HARRY D. WKSSIXGER.
To the Voters of Lexington County: ^
I desire to state that I am making
the race for the office of County
Treasurer on my own merits. This,
is an administrative office, and who-'
ever is elected to fill it can do nothing
better than follow the law governing
the office. The main thing is to
see that your treasurer is honest and
efficient. I know that I can qualify
on both of these points. For seven
years, I was the cashier of J;he Bank
of Chapin. and conducted that work
to the satisfaction of all concerned. I
voluntarily resigned that post. During
my term " cashier, the condition
r
of the bark and the accounts as I
, kept them passed the inspection of
i KonL- avsminpc that visited US.
I was born and reared at Chapin.
and am the only candidate in this
campaign from the Dutch fork section
of the county. I am not offering
that as a reason why you should
support me, but we of that section do
feel that we should have at least one
representative in the elective officers
of the county.
If I am elected, I promise to give
my entire time to the duties of the
office, and to give to the public an
honest, accurate, and courteous adtent,
my educational preps
