VENERABLE CITIZEN TAKES
PART IX S. S. CONVENTION
The Interdenominational Sunday
school convention of Saluda <-ountv
which met last week had th<- distinction
of having: present in its enrolled
membership one of the oldest workers
in the cause in the State. Mr. .T.
I. Rauch. who has been superintendent
of the Sunday school of Corinth
Lutheran church in that county 31
} years. Although Air. Rauch is very
nearly a nonogenarian, now in his
S5th year, he manifests a keen in
terest m an mauers reiauug m Sunday
school work and has been prominent
a long number of years in his
church, filling positions of honor and
trust on its boards and committees.
He is besides a staunch citizen of
whom any community might well be j

proud and no doubt our neighbor j
county of Saluda feels that it has a j
such a citizen whose Virtues could |
well be emulated by the young men ;

of the rising generation. i
