the dullness bf the time there
was a good attendance and a nice
little sum for the benefit of the school
was realized from the sale, of refreshments.
Mr. and Mrs. Julian Sharpe spent
Sunday afternoon as guests at the
home of Mrs. S. C. Reeder.
The chief topic of conversation
among farmers hereabout is cotton
acreage and fertilizers. The acreage
will be greatly reduced. Many are
disgusted at the turn the market has
taken and will not plant any, while
others will not be able to get fertilizer
to plant any, as the dealers ,
are demanding cash payment, instead
of fall as heretofore.
