, had one son, John Rikard, a small boy
and to this union were born six sons

years ago. Manoie married Augustus

i girls and two boys. One boy is dead.
Columbus, Hep and Doss arc the only
living sons of Uncle John. Columbus
I lives in Navasota, Doss in Houston and
Hep and his family live in Shiro; one
child dead and four living. One son
is a practicing physician and served in
the World War sixteen months as iirst
lieutenant in the medical corps in
both France and Germany.
John Rikard, the step son of Uncle
John Franklow, died many years ago.
His widow is still living at Huntsville
tvith her youngest son, Etird. Reed,
her eldest son, is somewhere in northern
Texas drilling oil wells.
I want to say also that I spent one
night with another cousin of mine in
Shiro, Dodd Harnian. He left here
some fifteen years ago and went to
Shiro and opened a blacksmith shop
and soon married Silas Amick's daughter.
