The remarkable results given Mrs.
,
Annie Kellar, of 115 Murphy St.,
Greenville, S. ., by Tanlac were de
scribed in her highly interesting statement,
of which the above paragraph is
a part. Continuing, Mrs. Kellar said:
"I suffered from indigestion and
stomach trouble particularly, which I
had for about eight years, and I failed
to find any medicine that would break
up the trouble. I suffered a great
deal with pains in my stomach and
chest after meals, and also a burning
sensation. Gas formed on my stom

so badly that I could hardly endure
them at times and my nerves ,
were on edge. My appetite had left
me and I did not eat anything hardly.
I had to be very careful of what I did
eat.
"Then I began taking Tanlac because
I had heard so much about the

The Tanlac made me better almost
from the start and I improved rapidly

and the Tanlac gave me a grand appetite

My strength was increased greatly
and I soon was almost a different person.
"Tanlac is a good medicine?the
best I ever took?and I cannot praise
it too liberally for troubles like I had.
I shall always take Tanlac when I
have ailments for which Tanlac is recommended."

Une of the most complete and up- j*
to-the-minute liquor stills ever seen *
in this county was captured by Sheriff *
Sim J. Miller on last Friday after- _
noon. Unaided and alone, the sheriff I
located the plant right in the middle *
of Cedar creek in the lower section of i
the county. The still was planted in j
the midst of a dense, marshy place, j
far from the view of the average per- i

The still of forty gallon capacity, is
of copper throughout, and the vigilant
officer secured cap, worm and all. No
liquor or beer was found, however,

Genuine Pepto-Mangan a
A serious illness such as Influenza 5
or other infectious disease always I
leaves the body with low vitality, lack
of strength, and impoverished blood.
Gude's Pepto-Mangan aids convalescents
to a quick recovery, for it crof
ates a generous supply of rich, red
blood and restores the body to its normal.
healthy condition.
That's why physicians recommend
Pepto-Mangan. for they know that it
imparts to the blood and material so
sorely needed by weak, run-down systems.
Pale, sallow, thin, easily-exhausted
men and women find that Pepto-Mangan
builds them, up wonderfully. A
new supply of rich, red blood is created,
which in turn imparts the glow
of health to the cheeks, increases the
appetite, the eyes sparkle, the entire
system takes a new lease on life.
Pepto-Mangan is obtainable in liquid
or tablet form, whichever proves
most convenient. Both forms possess
identical medicinal qualities.
There is but one genuine Pepto:
Mangan and that is "Gude's" Ask
your druggist for "Gude's and look for
the name "Gude's"-on the package. If
it is not there, it is not Pepto-Mangan.
