The State Fair program is the most elaborate ever attempted. From the opening day, Monday, October 23, un til the closing day, Saturday, October 28, unusual features are daily pro grammed. Officially the days have been designated. as follows: Monday, Ocotber 28, Lies Free Day, featur ing the laying of the corner stone of the new woman's building and the public reception to Mrs. Edith Van derbilt; Tuesday, October 24, School Day, featuring football game between Greenville High and Columbia High; Wednesday, October 25, Agricultural and Confederate Veteran's Day, fea turing special events in honor of the old soldiers; Thursday, October 26, Football Day, featuring Clemson Carolina game; Friday, October 27, naval and Circus D'ay, featuring Ring ling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey combined circus; Saturday, , October 28, Auto Race Day, featui'ing pro fessional auto races. In addition to the above, harness and running races are to occur the first five days on the now race track and some of the fantest horses cam paigning have entered the twenty dif ferent races. Free circus acts will daily afford thrills and entertainment, while each night a stupendous display of fireworks will be presented. Johnny J. Jones, with his aggregation. of tented, shows, will be on the Joy Plaza. The railroads are offering special excursion rates durin gthe en tire week of the State Fair, while for visitors traveling via autos the man agement has provided a large free parking ground.
