Thames in Florence, Sunday a baby girl. Mr. Ellis Wells is spending a few days on the Isle of Palms. Supervisor R. E. McFaddin spent Monday in Charleston on business. Mrs. S. E. Brock of Summerton is visiting Mrs. Joe Rigby. Miss Janie Wilson is spending a while at Myrtle Beach, N. C. Mr. Allen Sauls of Winston-Salem, spent the week-end here. Miss Elizabeth larlee of Columbia is visiting friends here. Mr. Leter Weinberg was a week end visitor here. Miss Sue Davis spent the week-end in Sumter. Miss Cerinne Barfield spent the week-end in Suniter. Rev. and Mrs. G. P. Watson of Mul Jins, are visiting MIrs. J. B. Cantey. Mrs. Hunt of Georgia, is visiting her sister, Mrs . M. Wells. The friends of Miss Ruby Bullard will be glad to know after an illness of two weeks is out again. Miss Katie M. Atkinson of Bennetts Ville, is visiting her cousins, Pearl and Ruby Bullard. Mr. C. R. Harvin is visiting his daughter, Mrs. D. E. lydrick, in Spartanburg. Mrs. John S. Wilson and (laughter, Miss Pauline, left Monday evening for Pawley's Island. Mr. S. W. Thompson has returned home after a visit to relatives in Marion. Mr. and Mrs. .1. B. Cantey have re turned from a visit to Sullivan's Is ]and. Miss Gertrude O'Bryan of Heine man, is visiting her brother, Mr. S. 0. O'Bryan. Messrs. Chas. Brown and Preston Wells left Monday for Camp Jackson 'where they will enter training.
