Friday and Saturday of this week have been set aside as days for the Red Cross campaign. There will be a series of special services held at the Manning Baptist Church fron November 28th to December 5th. Dr. W. 0. Carver of the Baptist Seminary at Louisville, Ky., will preach at 10:30 A. Moorefield of the State Highway Coin mission have promised to attend the Santee Bridge meeting at Manning oi Friday the 19th. Other speakers have pronised to come if possible including Governor R. A. Those from Manning that went to see Hill's Ministrels in Sumter last Saturday night, said it was far be yond expectations. This company has one of the oldest black face comedians on the road, George Williams. They have also, one of the world's greatest woman inipersonaters, Howard Neid ing, acting as "Brown Skin Gal."
