In talking to Senator V ideman and Representative Sprott hey tell us that they have introduced bill to bond the county for $400,000 or road and bridge work. The idea s t: spend $150,000 ;n the Santee )ridge, Sumter county will put up 100,000 and Orangeburg county $50, 100, making a total of $300,000 that he bridge and approachments will ost. It will he a toll bridge and each ounty will receive their pro-rata hare of receipts. Clarenden will have .>50,000 left to put on other roads ml bridges, which will be of great mo-it.
