Campaign. -- II CIVIC LEAGUE The Manning Civic League held its irst meeting of the New Year on londay afternoon, with nineteen tembers present. After having had recess since the November meeting, i II members present were ready and I nxious that our work for the year be I tarted up at once, and with vim and l etermination that the year 1920 shall e a good one in every department, all ommittees signified their intention of i tarting to work at once. The mem- I ership of the League was increased I t this meeting by twenty-five, which hows how the interest in the league s broadening. and with the assistance f these additional twenty-five new nembers, the league is in a position I o make great strides along every | inc of work it takes up.
