"Even after the first bottle I coul

For the week ending Octo

Total $82,350.00
Only four townships have reported
work done by the Women: Mt. Zion,
Santee, Manning and Summerton. If
the women in four tt.wnships could
and did sign up $82,360.00 worth of
subscriptions, what might have been
done im the county if the women in
every section had organized and gone
to work? Women, this is not a matter
of choice, it is our Government which
has called on us to do our share of this
work. Your County Chairman holds
a commission approved by Mr. Mc
Adoo, Secretary of the Treasury, id
bearing his signature, appointing her
, chairman of the Woman's Liberty
Loan Committee for the County of
Clarendon, and empowering her with
authcrity to appoint chairmen and
teams of women in every township
to sell Liberty Bonds. We should con
sider it. a privilege as well as a duty
to respond to the call of our Govern
ment. This is the last week-let us
redouble our efforts. Canvass every
hom.' and urge every woman, as well
as every man to rally to the support
of our splendid inen in the Army and
Navy, by buying T .erty Bonds.
