Walker of this city, who has for some time been in declining health, died today at noon at the resi dence of ,her daughter, Mrs. H. L. Scarborough. The funeral will be held from the residence of Mr. scar borough on North Main street, tomor row, Saturday, morning at ten o'clock and the interment will be made in the Manning cemetery, the funeral party going by private conveyance through the country. Mrs. Walker was in her 70th year, and for the past nine years has resid ed in this city. She was twice mar ried; the first time to MrE-Ickleberger of Laurens, and the second time to Mr. Walker of Manning, where she made her home for some years before coming to Sumter. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Hf. L. scarborough and Mrs. P. M. Parrott of this city, and two sons, Mr. L. E. Walker of Asheville and Mr. S. S. Walker of Charleston. For many years she was a member of the Presbyterian church, but upon her moving to Manning she joined the Baptist denomination with her husband. She led an exemplary Chris tian life, which will continue in the memory of her many friends in this city.-Sumter Item. BLIND NEWS DEALER LEAVES AN ODD WILL Pittsburgh, Pa., Juzly 21.--Henry C.
