The only time that I have, made any extra charge was during the month of October. when we were building what is known as the swinging bridge, and the facts in the case are simply these: We offered the job to three carpenters, and only one would accept, and he wanted M e .dav, which was refused by the county -board. The board then asked me to take -the job, which I did at $2 pcr d:ty, juist one; half the price that had been chatrged them.
