With this end in viev cur club has recently held two meet ir.gs in different sections of the coun ty. Several weeks ago we held on: of our regular meetings at th beau tiful country home of Mrs. E. C Ir Carlisle. And again last Thursday afternccn members of the club an; I a few invited friends journeyed ovt?] | to Whitmire for on? of the semi (monthly meetings. That these meet ir.gs have proven worth while is th< unanimous vote of those who wen present. We feel that the ties o: coim-adeship between the member: ? of the club and the citizens of thes< communities have been cementec more closely because of these meet ings. [ The meeting at Whitmire was hel( I in the beautiful community building f of the Glenn-Lowry mills. The pro gram arranged by Isaac Hunt wa L carried out without a hitch. Th< I menu prepared and served by thi I Glenn-Lowry girls was all that on< could wish. The music furnished b? r the Whitmire orchestra* during th< dinner received favorable commen dation on all side?.
