The contest for the sale.of Christmas seals will close Saturday night but on account of out-of-town contestants final count and distribution of prizes will be delayed until about Tuesday. Miss Margherita Matthews who teaches in Greenwood city schools is at home for Christmas holidays. A cantata will be given at the First Baptist church Christmas morning at 11:30, taking the place of the regular church services. Miss Caroline Carnell of Savannah who is a student at Anderson college, is visiting her school-mate, Miss Colie Blease. The members of the Woman's Home and Foreign Missionary society of the Church of the Redeemer are requested to put their Christmas offering on the plates at the regular morning service Christmas morning.
