Th repair department came in for it share of improvement, too, ,by gel ting some needed machinery for th ibetter handling and repairing c cars, etc. Battery service was instal ed and a line of Philadelphia Gri batetries was put in stock to meet long-felt need. The servi'ce depan ment received attention ,by tearin down a room used for battery worl which was too small for teh busines: and gaev valuable storage space, j modern wash rack was built to ac commodate customers desiring thei cars washed. Desiring to make the women fol and- children of its patrons feel a home in town, a rest room was fui nished with writing desk, chairs, sel tee and electric fans, together wit lavatory and toilet.
