about the beginning of the Legion in
Newberry I told him that I would
not know wh^ere to leave off. That
I felt as if the 'beginning has just
been made, but I want to say that
with the help of a score of very faithful
members this post No. 24 ranks
high in the state and that we have
never been called on and found wanting.
and that under the wise and
fait-hful leadership of our beloved
post commander, Dr. John B. Setzlcr,
we will never fail in any undertaking
and we pledge ourselves anew to God
and country.
