We had with us last week Mr. N.
E. Winters of Clemson college for a
series of meetings -on soil building
and hay crops. Mr. Winters presented
the facts in such a plain a/id
forceful manner that all who heard
him were "almost persuaded" if not
completely. The meetings as a whole
were well attended and orders for
more than a ton of legume seed were
booked for a cooperative shipment.
Other farmers have booked seed since
and we will continue to book seed for
this cooperative order. The farmers
who wish to order cooperatively cando
so by seeing T. M. Mills, county
agent, or by leaving their orders
at the chamber of commerce.
