There was a barbecue at both West End and Mollohon' and the editor acknowledges an im itation to dine at both places, and appreciates the thoughtful kindness ofj the management, but could not accept j as this was a rather busy day with j the newspaper people. Four tables were placed for progressive rook and nany pleasant games were enjoyed during the \fternoon. The prize was won by Mrs. John Nichojs which was a "lovely bunch of hand made organdie flowers of various colors. Later in the afternoon delirious ice cream and cake were served. i)uring the course of the afternoon the guests were each asked to give a recipe on how to manage a husband.
