A. J. Sproles Improving Greenwood Index-Journal, 1st. Reports from A. J. Sproles, who recently underwent a minor operation at the Greenwood hospital show that he is rapidly convalescing. He was carried to his home Tuesday and is now able to sit up. NEWBERRY-SUMMERLAND COLLEGE REUNION The series of reunions of students and friends of Newberry and Summerland colleges, which are held each year on consecutive Fridays .during July and August at different points in this state and Georgia, will as usual be ushered in with the old Orangeburg reunion on July 15 at Sandy Run church in Calhoun county, just 18 miles from Columbia.
